The Journey to Allah: Spiritual Guidance for Muslim Women and Men is a highly inspiring course on traveling the path to Allah. Beginning with addressing the general question of what we seek in life, lessons cover how you begin the path of drawing closer to Allah, the means you need to take, the obstacles on the path, and purifying your soul through ridding yourself of reprehensible traits and acquiring praiseworthy ones. Habib Ali's own high state comes across in his words and is itself a great source of inspiration.

The course is based on a series of lectures given by Habib Ali at Al Zayed University for Women in the United Arab Emirates. Equally relevant to both men and women, these lectures serve to accompany and support you on your own journey to God. Lessons serve as both an excellent introduction to the spiritual path and as a means for the revival of motivation.

Lessons are available both in their original Arabic by Habib Ali as well in English translation by Shaykh Abdul-Kareem Yahyaa. In addition, weekly live sessions will be held in English with Shaykh Abdul-Kareem.

Habib Ali is an inheritor of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, both in knowledge and in lineage. A direct descendant of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he has studied under many of the leading lights of our times. Habib Ali is loved and admired by scholars and Muslims worldwide for the overflow of Prophetic love, mercy, wisdom, and beauty in his words and example. Shaykh Abdul-Kareem is an American convert to Islam who spent two years studying in Damascus, Syria and then, since 1999, studying and living in Hadramawt, Yemen. He was specifically appointed by Habib Ali to run this course.

• Recorded lessons by Habib Ali al-Jifry will be in Arabic and translated into English by Shaykh Abdul-Kareem.
