There were quizzes, reflection journals, and great course discussions which helped me remember and think about the material that I learned. What's amazing is that there's so much more to still learn about the Seerah and I just love it. Then our larger assignments helped us focus on the every-day lessons we got out of the stories during the Makkan period and encouraged the class to implement them into our daily lives. It was great! We understand the beauty of his character in this course, or at least some of it because he was just so perfect, and we reflected and learned about the hardships and reliefs that he faced in his life. This really made me appreciate how life is not as hard as it was for the Companions, but I always remembered that everything happened through Allah Most High's Wisdom. We always remembered that during the course and talked about the lessons to be learned from each situation. Also, the companions we learned about had different personalities and it was pretty entertaining. The class had so much to it. You can't help but love it. My instructor is amazing! MashaAllah. I grew so much love for her. She interacted with the students well and she explained so much to us. I don't know how she did it. We all shared the same desire to love the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and to learn more about him. It was easy to ask her questions and she would never get tired of them.
