Learning Tracks
Imam Ghazali summarized it well:
"Knowledge is vast. Life is short."Complete mastery of every religious discipline is tempting but unattainable. Successfully treading the path of knowledge therefore requires careful planning. SunniPath Academy helps you put first things first by encouraging you to follow one of its 4 learning tracks.
If you successfully complete one of the learning tracks by meeting the requirements of your level of participation, you will be eligible for certification.
Foundations Curriculum
This essential series of courses covers what students must know to make their belief, worship of God, and dealings with people valid and proper according to the sunna of the Messenger of God (God bless him and give him peace). The knowledge taught in this learning track is either personally obligatory or strongly recommended for every Muslim to acquire.

Seeker's Curriculum
This advanced series of courses deepens and broadens the knowledge acquired in the Foundations curriculum. At the personal level, students who successfully complete this learning track will acquire a sound religious context within which to navigate the modern world. At the community level, they will be able to effectively discharge leadership roles such as public speaking, community activism, teaching, and explaining Islam to people of other faiths.
Students interested in going abroad for in-depth religious studies will find that these courses give them a solid preparatory grounding in the various religious disciplines, saving them precious time in their later studies. Most of the knowledge taught in this learning track is communally obligatory for Muslims to acquire.
The Seekers curriculum is still under development.
Miftah™ Arabic Program
The Miftah Curriculum takes students with no knowledge of Arabic and gives them a solid grounding in the language in preparation for the Sibawayh Curriculum. Students are gently yet systematically introduced to the basic rules of Arabic, until they reach the point of being able to read actual hadiths, from simple, brief, yet eloquent statements to longer passages requiring more complex linguistic analysis.

Sibawayh Advanced Arabic Program
This series of courses is a bridge to the Treasures curriculum. It prepares students with a basic knowledge of Arabic to read and understand classical religious texts in their original Arabic. Unlike other Arabic learning programs, these courses have a purely religious focus: to learn Arabic to understand the Qur'an, the hadiths of the Messenger of God (God bless him and give him peace), and the works of our scholars. There is no need to waste time learning what to say to an attendant at a gas station or memorizing the names of all the sports at the Olympic Games.
Treasures Curriculum
This series of courses is for serious students of knowledge interested in specialized study of classical religious texts in their original Arabic with English as the language of instruction. Good Arabic reading comprehension skills are a prerequisite for these courses, although conversation, listening, or writing composition skills are generally not required. Many of these courses presuppose previous study of the discipline and require a formal application of acceptance from the student. Completion of the Sibawayh curriculum (or equivalent) is required and completion of the Seekers curriculum is strongly recommended before enrolling in this curriculum.
The Treasures track is still under development.
